Simon Levitt
Partner

Simon L. specialises in strategic communications and public affairs. He has 15 years of experience of creating and implementing communications programmes encompassing government relations, stakeholder relations and corporate social responsibility for Fortune 500 companies. As a Managing Director of a global public relations firm, his international campaigns across the US and Europe have created fire safe televisions, changed the position of one of the world’s largest energy companies, and saved the printer cartridge as we know it. Simon is British, with a MA in classics from Oxford.

 

Margot Lotz
Partner

Margot Lotz has an extensive background in political communications and stakeholder outreach. She’s advised many Fortune 500 companies, partnered with NGOs, and coordinated legislative and communication strategies for politicians. Among others, some of the issues she has worked on are public private partnerships, alternative energy, smoking cessation, cardiovascular disease, corporate social responsibility, nutrition, local community engagement, and political reform. Margot is especially interested in European voting behavior, with a particular focus on the effect of voting patterns on public policy and business. Margot is half Dutch, half American with a BA from the University of Rochester and an MSc from the London School of Economics.

 

Simon Bryceson, MBE
Chairman

Simon has spent the last thirty years thinking about public opinion on the major issues affecting our daily lives, businesses and politics. He has worked with a wide range of global environmental groups devising campaigns, was deputy general secretary of the British Liberal Party with special responsibility for dealing with television and radio. He later advised other European political parties during key elections, he has been advising companies on business critical issues for twenty years. His is an almost unique mix of pressure group, political and commercial experience. He speaks frequently at conferences around the world on public opinion and decision making.

 

Jan Rask Christensen
Consultant

Jan advises multinational clients on issues prioritisation and dollar impact quantification and works with our NGO clients on campaign strategy and grass roots outreach.  He has previously worked in the Danish European movement, organizing the project “Europe on the Agenda”, helping people decide which EP-candidates best fitted their preferences for the 2009 European Parliament elections.  Jan is a native of Denmark, who holds a double Bachelor's diploma from the University of Kent in Canterbury in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics in Europe, and a double Master's diploma in International Relations from the College of Europe and Sciences Po Lille.  Jan speaks Danish, French and English and has a basic knowledge of German and Spanish.

 

Emmanuelle Bomo
Consultant

Emmanuelle focuses on working with clients to design effective brandholder and stakeholder communications to create competitive marketplace advantage.  She has previously worked in various NGOs and multinationals on cross-functional projects and research on economic development. Emmanuelle is a native of France, who holds a Bachelor's diploma in Finance from the IMIP-MBA Institute in Paris, France and a CEMS Master in International Management from RSM-Erasmus University in The Netherlands. She speaks French, English and Spanish.

 

Piero Soave
Consultant

Piero works with clients to develop effective public, grassroots advocacy strategies based on their commercial priorities, and advises NGO clients on public communication campaigns. Piero has previously worked at NATO’s Allied Command Transformation, conducting policy and security analysis, and helping develop a Strategic Communications concept. Prior to joining HLC, he has worked at the United Nations Regional Information Centre in Brussels. He holds a Master in International and Diplomatic Affairs from the University of Bologna-Forli, and conducted part of his studies at SciencesPo Paris. Piero speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish, and has a basic knowledge of German.
